This group is implementing SSIS for the first time -- business requirements have been gathered, but that's all. Strong business skills, communication skills, etc. are required for this role. Skills: The candidate should have the following background and skills: • Experience with Microsoft* SSIS* (SQL Server Integration Services) • Strong background in *SQL programming * • Experience with Oracle and* PL/SQL* stored procedures and triggers desirable • Experience working with DB2 databases and tools • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Some experience with Oracle and DB2 query performance and tuning Experience preferred: • Project work involving complex data conversion • *ETL* development experience with complex data transforms and derivations • Business background in Variable Annuities • MS Access and Excel • Relevant experience under all software development lifecycle phases including requirements definition and testing.
