McLean, VA *Job Description: PeopleSoft Financials – Test Lead* *Salary: $60k - $70k* ** *Exp Level: 7-10 of Functional Testing and 5-7 on Lead* * * Create test beds supporting the constructing of complex testing scripts, integrating testing tool sets with the overall testing process, and constructing automated test suites for a number of projects. Support the design of the overall test strategy for a variety of projects. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience from which knowledge and skills may be obtained. Five-ten years experience testing distributed web-based applications or complex financial systems or complex financial applications. This position will lead the testing of all changes to the PeopleSoft financials ERP application. The individual will be responsible for establishing all mandated SDLC test artifacts, adhering to processes, creating test beds of data, developing test automation strategies and ultimately executing test plans to ensure that all software changes satisfy requirements and meet all quality standards. In addition, test metrics must be produced and analyzed to ensure project schedule compliance and to uncover any trends that could indicate software and/or data issues. Effective written and verbal communications with project team and testing peers, and knowledge of Microsoft applications including Project required. Experience with HP Quality Center a plus. 7 to 10 years of functional testing experience including 5 to 7 years of lead experience required. Peoplesoft Financials experience required.
