The current contract runs through July 31st. There is a high likelihood that it will be extended for at least an additional six weeks. 1 senior FatWire CMS developers. Candidates need to have experience with FatWire CMS v7.x and 3-5 years of extensive Fat Wire development experience. They should also have experience with integration with LDAP technologies and FatWire. They should have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development style, though it is not a heavy requirement; more of a nice to have. Also need to have experience with the FatWire XML parser. Experience with JSP, XML, JavaScript and Oracle are also required. Our client has not provided a formal position description, but through discussions with their technical lead and feedback on candidates that have been presented to them, there are some specific skills they are seeking. A minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on FatWire development (they make a distinction between a developer that can design and code from business requirements and a programmer that follows the instructions from a designer/developer). The experience must be working on new development projects and not on maintenance of existing code. The experience must include use of flexible asset features (vs. fixed asset) as well as the customization features of FatWire (using out of the box forms and templates is not sufficient). The FatWire developer needs to also have a working knowledge of Java. Soft skills include working independently, good documentation and communication skills, and some familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Agile or RUP.
