Location: SF,CA 6 months LOCALS ONLY SKILL REQUIREMENTS ================== * MUST: Total 10+ years of experience as Oracle DBA * MUST: 5-7 years experience as Sr. Oracle DBA in 9i/10g environment with large databases (in excess of 500GB) in a 7 x 24 environment. * MUST: 2+ years of experience in leadership role. * MUST: MUST: Strong primary experience on Oracle databases 9i & 10g on Solaris * MUST: Experience in leading 1-2 large scale complex projects * MUST: Direct experience with Oracle running on UNIX, preferably Solaris. * MUST: Experience with Veritas Quick I/O, Net backup, and Volume Manager. * MUST: Strong shell scripting experience is a must. * MUST: Very good experience with different aspect of database tuning, application (PL/SQL) and SQL tuning. * MUST: Requires strong experience in high availability & replication solutions along with good exposure to Oracle internals. (Oracle Dataguard, RAC, Streams etc) * PREFERRED: Looking for strong data modeling experience for relational database. * PREFERRED: Experience with MySQL along with Oracle is a plus.
