*Responsibilities:*
Solution development, installation, migration,configuration, maintenance,
technical support and troubleshooting of SAS BI, DI and Analytics
implementations in a shared environment, Participate in and contribute to
the implementation of industry best practices for SAS BI, DI and Analytics,
Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities, Conduct
performance tuning and capacity management, Implement patches and other
day-to-day SAS BI, DI and Analytics administration tasks, Work with IT and
business users to resolve support and technical questions, Provide support
to the business community in leveraging the SAS BI platform, including
migration from PC SAS/Connect and MVS to SAS BI on AIX Platform, Contribute
to coordination and planning of all SAS BI related activities, Provide and
manage 24x7 shift support
*Requirements:*
· Bachelors degree Computer Science, Business, Mathematics,
Statistics or related field, or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of product implementation and administration of SAS BI,
DI and Analytics
· Strong knowledge of and experience designing and implementing SAS
BI security models using SAS Management Console
· Detailed knowledge of SAS BI architecture
· Developed knowledge of and experience with Enterprise Guide, and
the SAS BI Client suite of products, including but not limited to,
Information Map Studio, Web Report Studio, Information Delivery Portal,
AppDev Studio and others.
· Working knowledge of administering SAS Analytics including both
SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS Forecast Server.
· Working knowledge and experience on Windows 2003 and AIX server
administration
· Good understanding of Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere as it
relates to the SAS BI infrastructure
· Experience in a lead role in managing a team of technical staff
and in communicating with different levels of users and management
· Excellent verbal and written communication, including status
reports to business partners
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
· Good understanding of various database platforms, including
Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Teradata Practical experience on basic SQL and Unix
shell scripting
*Desired Skills: *
SAS programming for data management, SAS Macro and PROC statements Exposure
to Data Integrations Studio, Dataflux, and SAS/ODS
