DESCRIPTION: *seeking a Java Web Developer for continued evolution of its content management and branded website delivery system. This contract position requires strong skills in web! application development, including Java, XSD, XHTML and XSLT. The contractor will develop applications according to specifications; meet design and coding deliverable deadlines. Communicate with team leaders and management on status and deadlines. Work under architect's direction to ensure consistency across multiple applications. Performs testing of applications, resolves bugs/issues reported. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: . Development and maintenance of internal content management system and branded website delivery system . Support for users including troubleshooting and debugging* QUALIFICATION: *Minimum Education/Experience Required: . BSCS or equivalent experience . 3 years experience developing applications using Java and XML related technologies, including o JSP / servlets o XHTML / CSS / Javascript o XSLT / XSD . BSCS or equivalent experience. . Substantial web development experience . Strong analytical ability to solve complex problems. . Excellent oral and written communications skills . Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment . UNIX shell programming experience PREFERRED- Desirable skills . Japanese language fluency . XMLSpy Authentic experience . shell programming experience (especially Perl) .
