*Title: Network Administrator*** *Loc: Austin, TX* *Duration: 4+ months* *Exp:8 -10 yrs* *Start: ASAP* *Skills: Exp with network tools such as sniffer (packet / protocol analyzer) and Network Physics NetSensory application performance management analysis tool.** * The candidate will serve as Network Administrator and interact closely with the clients Network Engineering Staff, Network Specialist and Database administrators. The Network Administrator will be required to utilize agency network tools such as sniffer (packet / protocol analyzer) and NetSensory to collect data, analyze network traffic patterns and produce results based reports for specific applications that are targeted to move to the consolidated data center. *II. **WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS *(Required)** * Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 5+ Experience recognizing, analyzing, and resolving network issue at all layers of the TCP/IP model. 5+ Experience configuring network equipment such as routers, switches, HBA’s, etc. 5+ Knowledge of network technologies, internet communications, and network protocol designs and their usage 5+ Experience monitoring and analyzing statistics on network utilization and availability. 5+ Experience utilizing standard reporting tools to communication utilization of network resource issues to non technical staff members 5+ Experience recommending and implementing performance tuning and capacity planning discoveries to enhance the performance of the network resources. 3+ Experience with usage packet and protocol analyzers Strong Verbal and Communication Skills Strong Ability to work as a team member * * * * * Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 3+ Experience with the usage of the Network Physics NetSensory application performance management analysis tool.
