*Required Skills* * * The Configuration Manager shall be responsible for developing, documenting and executing the policies and procedures that govern the configuration management and change management processes. This includes knowledge and experience with identifying, controlling and tracking all versions of hardware, software, documentation, processes and procedures that are configurable items (CI) in the configuration management database (CMDB). In order to determine the best qualified candidates, applicants who meet the qualification requirements will be further evaluated by determining the extent to which their experience indicates possession of the following factors: 1. Experience: Prefer 5 Years of direct experience in Configuration Management Rational Suite of tools in particular Clear Case Multi Site setup and maintenance across a full project lifecycle Managed and/or chaired a Change Control Board (CCB) including defining the process and documenting procedure, agendas, action items and minutes Establishing policies and procedures that govern the CM processes Coordination and integration of activities that involve configuration management among developers, DBAs, testers, and system administrators Maintain baselines and ensure that all artifacts are properly placed under CM Support the CM activities of change control, configuration identification and configuration status accounting Worked in an environment that has achieved Capability Maturity Model (CMM) or Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) level 2 or higher Proven capability of understanding what metrics to identify and to report upon for various levels of management. Experience in regulatory requirements considered a plus. Examples include FDA, OSHA and/or HIPPA. Experience with government agencies considered a plus.
