Job Classification: Application Systems Engineer 4 Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience. Description: Works on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares computer solutions. Performs and leads modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs programs. Participates in the overall systems testing. Supports the implementation of the application into production. Desired Platform/skillsets: Object Oriented Perl Building Web Services using Perl Description of Services 1. 5 + years Perl experience. Object Oriented Perl (OOP) experience is a must. 2. Experience with building Web Services using Perl. 3. 2+ years in any relational database programming. 4. Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Experience developing interface programs utilizing middleware application(s) (MQ, HTTP, SSL, SOAP). Experience working as part of a remote team.
