Bachelors degree (mathematics strong preferred) Systems design and development skills including analysis, design, coding, debugging, implementation & testing for distributed applications in a transaction oriented, data-warehousing type environment. 3-4 years development Java, Server Side Java, Unix. 3+ years development experience with various messaging architectures/high throughput messaging systems. Previous development experience on high volume transactional and multi-threaded systems. Experience with RUP and/or Agile methodologies Understanding of system architecture and Object Oriented design. Strong communication skills. Description: Ideal candidate would have significant prior development experience using server side Java on UNIX systems, and would preferably also have prior experience using a messaging architecture. Prior experience working on high throughput, highly resilient messaging systems is also a requirement.
