Java with LDAP and Oracle Security exp
Location: Reston, VA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 5 months
We currently have an opening in Reston, VA for a Security Consultant
with strong drive and experience in web architecture, architecture
integration or end to end business support system (BSS) architecture.
This position will require the ability to provide guidance on
architecture and integration for migration of an existing
mission-critical web portal from LDAP to an Oracle based solution for
user authentication and authorization. The successful candidate should
not only have experience with Java and web technologies, but also have
specific skills related to the setup, configuration, and administration
of Oracle Enterprise Security products such as Oracle Access Manager
(OAM), Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD), and Oracle Entitlement Server
(OES).
Daily Responsibilities:
* Provides advanced-level development skills to client engagement
* Provides strong testing, debugging, and documentation skills
* Provides good system modeling skills with the UML
* Demonstrates experience in developing and working with LDAP
databases
* Independently manages individual time and tasks
* Demonstrates proficiency with at least one development tool /
technology
* Independently manages mid-sized development team to work on
individual modules
* Demonstrates understanding of and manages SDLC for development
projects
* Manages on-shore and/or offshore team members task activities
and assignments
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
field
* 3 - 6 years of experience in systems integration and
development, package implementation, and/or interactive design
* Can demonstrate a working knowledge of at least 4 of the
following: Java, UNIX, JSP, XML, SOAP, JavaScript
* Can demonstrate the ability to define, create, and complete a
technical task without a great deal of guidance
* Some experience in full lifecycle software development processes
and methods
* Experience in the installation, configuration, and
administration of Oracle security products including Oracle Access
Manager, Oracle Virtual Directory, and Oracle Entitlement Server.
* Can demonstrate the ability to thoroughly unit test all work
and deliver an error-free technology component to the team
* Can demonstrate the ability to articulate a vision of the total
solution
