iWay Engineer
6 months New York, NY The consultant assignment will be to design, code, test, and deploy data mapping and transformation applications. Design and develop XML transformation services using IWAY service manager. Develop Web services and Web service client applications. We require an Integration Engineer resource to complete the following deliverables: Installation, configuration and deployment of IWAY adapters MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE A minimum of 8 years experience in developing enterprise applications Knowledge of iWay or other system integration technologies Solid experience in SOA and Enterprise Application Integration preferably using IWAY service manager and adapter manager Experience with data integration applications Experience with messaging technologies preferably IBM MQ Experience installing, configuring and deploying IWAY adapters Strong Java Web Service development experience Strong XML technologies (XML, XSL, XSD) experience Strong team player; ability to work on independent assignments Strong knowledge of relational databases Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Solaris and Linux) DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE A Bachelors or Masters degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is desired; Knowledge of National Information Exchange Methodology (NIEM) Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards; Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; Knowledge of BEA Weblogic, UNIX, Solaris, and Linux; Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Message Broker and MQ experience; Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle Knowledge of EntireX Knowledge of Natural and Adabas Must take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made; Knowledge of Java or other object oriented programming languages Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project; Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance. Must be able to provide documentation on their work.
