Location: NYC Duration: 6 Months Phone screen followed by In-person interview Submit only tri-state resources Financial experience is strongly preferred Need two professional references from recent projects NOTE: urgent need for a senior BOXI and Informatica administrator. While these are related to a degree in the data warehousing space and the ideal candidate would be flawless in each, my expectation would that they major in BOXI and minor in Informatica, pardoning the collegiate metaphor. In summary, the ideal candidate would have performed installs of both products in prior experience and be current of the version in each product. They would understand HA architectures and know hardware integration and configuration at a high level. The ideal candidate would understand first hand administration of the products and the development lifecycle they entail. Overall experience required is 5 years for BO XI and 2 years for Informatica. Business Objects and Informatica Enterprise Architect/Admin: We are looking for a consultant to perform an SAP Business Objects Enterprise and Informatica Powercenter installation & roll-out. Objective: a.. Install and fine tune the installation and configuration of components of Business Objects Enterprise XI to suit company's needs b.. Installation, configuration, performance tuning and overall management of Informatica Powercenter 8.x in a production Windows environment. ยท Collaborating with developers to identify and resolve potential production issues. o Experience/knowledge about tracing/logging in BO XI, Crystal and Informatica o Performance monitoring and tuning o Subject matter expert assisting in platform migrations Required Skills: a.. Solid knowledge of Business Objects Enterprise XI Architecture (Windows), metrics, installation procedure, Crystal Reports XI/2008 b.. Solid knowledge of Informatica Powercenter 8.x Architecture, metrics, installation procedure c.. Ability to provide detailed implementation plan for successful deployment. d.. Capabilities for developing a custom administrative tool that communicates with BO XI enterprise server - user management, system and job monitoring, scheduling, sizing, metrics, auditing and general administrative functions. e.. Understanding of how to install SDKs, develop/implement scripts to monitor system. f.. Expertise in monitoring system and user activity, leveraging standard system features/tables as well as creating custom audit queries. g.. Proficient SQL skill sets and general coding abilities to query CMS, authenticate users, perform bulk imports/deletions (groups, users, schedules, reports, folder/rights, etc.) and track metrics Required Experience a.. 5 years experience managing Business Objects XI infrastructure (6.5, Xi R2, Xi R3). b.. 2 years experience managing Informatica infrastructure (current of 8.5.x). c.. 5+ years overall information technology experience, preferably in a financial services institution. d.. Experience coordinating projects through the complete project life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure) e.. Experience working in a team environment and coordinating projects with resources across the organization. f.. Recent hands-on experience supporting business critical applications g.. Knowledgeable of current technology architecture and systems.
