Responsibilities * We are looking for experienced SQL Server 2000 and 2005 DBA with excellent written and verbal communications skills. * Candidates are likely to have MCDBA certification for SQL Server 2000 or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills. * The role will require you to create technical content, and technical training materials adhering to Microsoft standards. * Ideal candidate should also possess strong SQL data replication server skills with production support experience in a global environment. * Responsibilities include ongoing system administration, configuring, managing, performance tuning and troubleshooting. * 10+ yrs. of experience of upgrading SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 * 10+ Yrs. experience with SQL Server and T-SQL in constructing triggers, tables, user functions, views, indexes, user profiles, relational database models, data dictionaries, data integrity, SSIS packages and DTS * 10+ Yrs. experience with monitoring, tuning and analyzing db performance and allocating server resources to achieve optimum db performance * Experience and knowledge of high availability SQL Server solutions, including Log shipping, Replication and SQL Server clustering * Database scheme changes, data cleansing tasks, refreshing databases from one environment to another. * Resource will ensure 24x7 support in shifts *Thanks & Regards SK Snr.
