This is a unique opportunity to join a growing high-tech company with an
established base. The ideal
candidate thrives in an independent environment and has proven and current
skills in the areas outlined below:
Tasks:
- Architect SW/HW systems
with hardware and software peers to address thermal imaging and night vision
applications.
- Design, implement,
integrate and test embedded and PC based software with other developers
including direct interfaces with outside
vendors.
- Develop and maintain high
productivity SW build and tooling environment to support product development
through the full life cycle.
Skills:
- Proven ability to analyze
system requirements and partition design problems across multiple
designers. Optical
/vision/imaging applications preferred; our applications are primarily
portable and fixed imaging products and the PC host tools that support
them.
- Strong hands-on software
design and debug skills across a broad base:
- Windows environment
experience a requirement; prefer WinCE
knowledge.
- Real time applications
a requirement; prefer experience with embedded
applications.
- Prefer exposure to the
full breadth of GUI � Application � Platform/BSP � Device Driver experience
in getting complete systems launched in a small company environment. Minimum requirement is GUI &
Application experience through multiple life cycles.
- Familiar with the methods
needed to be successful in a small team creating & supporting multiple
releases of multiple products.
- Solid understanding of
the process required to build a maintainable and expandable
design.
- Quick study of new
technologies.
- Self-starter, able to
work with minimal direction.
Experience and
Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of
experience in SW development with multiple cycles of independent design in
successfully deployed systems.
- BSCS or BSEE with
appropriate SW emphasis required. MS a plus.
- MS Visual Studio .NET
(C#) and MS eMbedded Visual C++ tool suites
- Labview experience a
plus.
