Hi,
Using an DataAdapter forces u to use a dataset, which makes the application as a disconnected data architectured one,
whereas, if u make use of the dbcommand, u need to explicity open a connection and perform the transactions with the server. This is major difference.
We cant say which one is better thn the other coz both are their own best at situations.
Hope this helps. If u need any further help, dont hesitate to contact me back.
Have a nice week ahead!!!
Venkat
