I have never really read a C# book, I have been programming since I was 13 years old and started with BBC BASIC and then progressed onto other languages such as, VB and C++ but I learn’t them via internet tutorials and example code. I do have a few C# books such as Language Specifications and other reference books. I think the books you are reading sound quite good. I am looking for a book on networking and C# anybody have any suggestions?

Kind Regards,

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your warm welcome :)
I don't know why I truly love C++ (none of my friends here are learning
it).
I'm hoping that learning C# is faster than learning C++.

I start reading some books on C#:
- Thinking in C#, Bruce Eckel
- C# Primer, Stan Lippman
- Professional C#, some writers in Wrox

Is there another book you'd suggest?

Regards,
