Level 3 Post Production Support Position
Post production support of the AdvantEdge application
Respond to production alert pages, related to the health of
the application
Address end users' issues communicated through the following
systems:
o Remedy Reporting
o Client Communications
o Indirect communications through upper management
Research and find root causes of the issues escalated to the
group
Write FIX PCR's (Program Change Request), and ensure
successful deployment of the fix to the production system.
24x7 monitoring of the health of the system
Monitoring the health of the system from application
performance point of view.
Must have Skills:
Strong problem solving, analytical and communications skills
related to a business support environment
Strong written and oral communications skills
Development background in VB6 and SQL Stored Procedure
programming is a must.
Must handle stress very well and be familiar with sensitivity
of 24x7 support of a financial system.
Must have a solid understanding of the Software development
life cycle.
Nice to have Skills:
Object oriented programming background, in areas such as C++
or C#
Knowledge of .Net Development platform
Prior mortgage banking understanding and experience.
Application performance programming / tuning experience
