Position Detail: Position Name: Tech Lead- Shadow Job Title: Dev Lead The primary role of this person will be The person in this role should be able to take full ownership of the development initiatives in the group P.S: Candidate should be able to plan & architect development on C#,.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server Emphasis is on both .NET and SQL Server 1. Building motivated and high performing team, providing direction on projects and priorities to the developers. 2. Strong problem solving and good communications skills are a must. Would be required to write Project plans, do code reviews, Write Tech specs 3. Must be able to develop High Level Designs, make ROM Estimates as well as detailed estimates for Design & development work. 4. Should be willing to write code in addition to designing and trouble shooting issues. 5. Must own all the work delivered from Offshore, Hyderabad for quality, performance & maintainability. 6. High focus on status reporting and maintaining strong relationships with on site teams as well as with the Application users/stakeholders is required. 7. Evaluation of Vendor resources for inclusion on team would be a frequent requirement. Note: This position is based in Hyderabad but will work closely with teams in Redmond and may require international travel. Flexible work hours are required in order to conduct meetings across international time zones. List the technical, managerial and behavioral skills required for this position: Must have Total experience is around 5-6 years and at least 3+ years of experience in .NET The ideal candidate would have experience with object- oriented programming languages such as C++, C#, with solid design and programming experience with SQL Server including coding Stored Procedures, triggers, understanding DB Design relationships and DB Administrative tasks. Good understanding of .NET Framework and other .NET technologies like C# .NET, ASP.NET, & Web Services. Previous experience working with these is essential Proven demonstrable experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies required. Should be able to drive the testing requirements for the team and lead the test resources as well giving necessary direction where required Ability to learn appropriate technologies and being able to derive personal motivation with assigned responsibilities is highly desirable. Should be able to focus on Security/ Stability & Performance issues in an application. The ideal candidate will show an excellent understanding of how to design applications for better performance, have proficiency in multiple programming languages, and demonstrate strong problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills. Highly refined software engineering process facilitation skills with areas of business/functional specialization are also desirable together with strong mentoring, team building, and counseling skills on software engineering and career issues. Should have handled multiple projects with team size of 10+ Should have worked with onshore/offshore team model, handled virtual teams, Nice to have Should have good understanding of Testing processes including Bug reporting & resolution using tools.
