Head (Quality)
Responsibilities & Attributes:
- 14 + years experience with exposure to various quality management initiatives
- Bring about consistency in the QA processes across all projects
- Totally responsible to plan, design and built a large Testing/QA team
- Extensive knowledge in Software Testing (Black Box and White Box), Change Control Management, Defect Tracking, Database and Web based application testing and different metrics generation
- Successfully direct the QA processes (Bugouts, Bug Triage, Bug Review Meetings, Regressions, Code coverage) for various releases
- Good Knowledge with Software engineering concepts and practices, SDLC concepts, and six sigma
- Ability to start and develop a testing practice as an independent revenue stream
- Must have influenced or gone through a CMM certification
- Strong exposure to project management
- Implement, practice and audit best practices
- Leverage cross team resource utilization and management
- Speak to current or potential customers and sell QA competencies or defend practices
- Matured person with the personal stature to influence, guide & motivate people
- Excellent communication
skills with high energy and drive
- Good interpersonal abilities & ability to inspire confidence of his colleagues
- Confident, Assertive & result-oriented
