HP,
Dell, and Sun Tweak Intel-Based Server
Lines by Timothy
Prickett Morgan
Three of the dominant vendors in the Wintel and
Lintel server markets--Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Sun Microsystems--have recently
tweaked their offerings in the entry server category. All
three vendors are chasing the same customers with these
products--companies who want to install inexpensive and
easy-to-use infrastructure and application servers. The new HP

prepackaged CRM application. After reviewing their CRM
options, however, none of the applications seemed to fit.
Instead, the winery decided to expand its Lotus Notes system, and in the
process helped create what may be the first killer application
for the midrange wine industry. READ

As
I See It: Surviving the Life by Victor
Rozek
Interminable delays at the airport, days of driving,
motel rooms that reek of stale smoke and Lysol, bad water,
strange food, hostile locals, exotic illnesses, and high
prices--all coupled with the desperate urgency of trying to
squeeze a year's worth of living into two cramped weeks. These
are just some of the possible delights encountered on the
great American vacation. It's little wonder many of us return
home more exhausted than when we left. READ
