That is correct.

I hadn't used "localhost" because some of the versions of netscape
communicator, which has its own "dns helper", munges the name to
"localhost.com", and you couldn't reach 127.0.0.1 via http://localhost but I
just tried my current version and it works fine.

Check it out; http://www.localhost.com/dns.html has a reference to that

Yeah, this is just a test on my home machine.  But that's the problem with
testing; it's not the real thing.

BTW I run FreeBSD-current and I'll verify it on freebsd-3.3 when I'm done
testing.
