Hi,
  Just had a very similar problem.. I tried modifiying the http.conf file to
point it at the correct database, but that didn't make things much better.

    I looked back at the install doccos for the midgard lib, and noticed
that you could set defaults for the database connection there. I changed
them so that the default database was 127.0.0.1. Recoompiled the lib and
reinstalled and everything came up and was happy...
