Yes, we've seen this before. It looks like apache is going to need
rebuilding one way or the other to include this symbol (which is
in libgcc). You can build Midgard into Apache, and I think rebuilding
apache with the -lgcc flag should allow you to build the dynamic
modules.
For a description of how to build apache with Midgard built-in, see

but add -lgcc to the LDFLAGS.
