Hmm, there seems to be some problems in your build environment. Emile
told me that he took a look at your system but wasn't able to find the
cause of the problem. What versions of compiler and linker are you
using. You can check the tools used by the make by doing "grep 'CC='
Makefile" and "grep 'LD=' Makefile" in your build directory. Then run
"CC --version" and "LD --version" on the tools.
Have you been able to build other programs that use the GNU configure
tools?
