Sure, it is all under work for Midgard 2. You can

These capabilities will not be available in the
1.x series of Midgard due to architectural
incompatibilities, but we hope to release the first
Midgard 2 beta during December.
I had a discussion on Midgard 2 with Jukka earlier
today and he said the source tree should be in a
compilable shape within a week or so. That will not
yet be stable or featured enough for running any
sites on, but should provide people developing it a
better basis to work on.
