You're probably accessing the site using http://localhost/ on the same
machine and http://your.host.name/ over the network. Midgard uses the
hostname to locate the database records that should be returned to the
client. You probably have configured the database records so that
Midgard places the admin site on http://your.host.name/. This is just as
it should be.
You might want to take a look at the section 4. Using Midgard of the FAQ
at http://www.midgard-project.org/manual/faq.html for more information
about the URL translation process and different ways of using Midgard
hosts.
