It's not in the plans, and I don't think it's likely to be. The access
control system of Midgard is built on the assumption that you only
access the DB through midgard-lib (or the midgard-php functions for
1.2), which is where access control can be enforced centrally. Generic
(and unrestricted) access to the database would not be desireable in
general. I think. You mentioned wrapper functions earlier, right?
Seems like a good solution for your needs, no?
