The page url can be found in $midgard->uri. Since there is not explicit
connection between pages and topics there is no "the" topic to be
presented
to you.

maybe you need mgd_is_in_topic_tree.

Maybe the little doodad I wrote a while ago for someone else would
fulfill
your needs. The description is a little rough but I'm not up to
expounding
on it just now. Maybe someone on the list can fill in (and possibly
