http://www.midgard-project.org/article/1000.html explains how to set
up CVS access on yor side. You'll want to fetch the docs with
cvs get midgard/doc

In short: install tetex, unpack sgmltools (http://www.sgmltools.org/),
remove french from line 117 of packages/cvs/jadetex/jadetex.dtx, make,
make install.
You can generate html by doing
sgmltools -s /usr/local/share/sgml/stylesheets/sgmltools/html.dsl -b html manual
in the doc directory
