Sorry, my question may have been slightly misleading.
Lets imagine I have some web pages on a Linux box running Apache.
These are located say under document root /home/httpd/html

What I would like to do is "get" these pages into Midgard, lets say on
the same host (though this is not important for me). Then I would like
to work with them in Midgard and leave them managed by Midgard.

I'm not bothered about exporting them back to a format where I can put
them back on a standard Apache web server.

I think what you are saying is that I must actually create these pages
in Midgard, either by typing the code in or pasting it in?

Whatever, its a damned fine tool for collaborative web site
development/management!
