Ronan-Yann Lorin,

Cool. I wanted to check out your site but I don't have the flash plug-in
so I can't view it. Don't tell Emile I haven't got a flash plug-in. I was
giving him a hard time about being a unix dinosaur who probably hasn't
even got a gui browser, turns out he's got flash enabled and I don't.

Anyway, one reason I mention this is because I'm interested in doing some
flash work and am wondering if there's anyway to detect non-flash enabled
browsers. I am guessing there isn't because it's just a plug-in...do
client browsers broadcast their plug-in capabilities with header
information?

If we can't broadcast plug-in info then we've gotta fall back on cookie
strategies, creating accounts that have user preferences and client
selection of flash or non-flash enabled sites.

I did view http://ism01.ism.asso.fr/enter/actumetiers/carrefour.html and
it's a very nice looking site. I don't speak french so I can't really
comment on anything.
