Here's a snippet of my httpd.conf, where I access the Midgard Admin Site
vie SSL:
--- cut ---
# Create the Virtual Host for the Midgard administration site
#
<VirtualHost 141.28.228.64:8101>
ServerName nathan.ghb.fh-furtwangen.de
Port 8101
SSLEngine on
SSLCertificateFile /home/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/server.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /home/httpd/conf/ssl.key/server.key
SetEnvIf User-Agent ".*MSIE.*" nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown
</VirtualHost>
--- cut ---
Of course you should change the SSLCertificate* entries to reflect your
directory structure.
Now you can access this site via:
https://141.28.228.64:8101
It is important to add the :8101 to direct your web-browser to the correct
Port if you don't use the standard HTTPS-Port (443).
Live long and prosper!
