If you can't find an ISP that offers Midgard as a product, I see two
other options (offhand):
- If you find a provider that allows you to run daemons under your
own user ID it is possible to set up apache + midgard non-privileged
and have the providers' main web server be proxy to your own server.
mod_rewrite will do this for you.
- Setting up a dedicated or colocated server. This will cost a lot more
than 'regular' hosting, especially dedicated. colocation requires the
owner of the machine to be the maintainer of the machine so in our
case
unix knowledge is required.
