Not a problem...I am not calling favours in yet. I had mentioned it as a
follow up to a conversation this editor and I had at wedding reception last
summer. He has since then jumped to ORielly which I think we all agree is a
pretty interesting outfit and has a lot of sympathies for what midgard is
about. I do want to make sure that as a group we want to go this way,
there are a lot of people on this list with a whole lot more invested in
Midgard than me ( it just bails my ass out and for that I owe the group a
lot) and I want to feel like if I take this to ORielly I can say that
we/you all feel like this is a good course of action. If we can get an
early proposal together then I can call in a little favour and see what one
editor's take is on it before we go to someone who will actually judge
us....even in that case it is more about getting someone's attention than
actually asking for strings to be pulled...

I realized (a little late perhaps) that I was jumping the gun here. But
Ken was pretty intent on announcing it and getting a 'vibe' back from
the list. He's not mentioned it specifically but I get a feeling from
some of his messages to me that he may have called in a few personal
favors, so I figured I'd rush this out.

How's things with push?

Emile
