Hi,

The page code in the example site makes use of a variable mgdroot which
seems to be set somewhere such that it automatically contains the base
url of the site. I know very well that this is much different from the
DocumentRoot in httpd.conf (my images are fetched from there). My
problem is that my $mgdroot appears to be empty.
In fact, <? &(mgdroot) ?> outputs nothing at all.

As a result, relative links do work, but things like

 href="&(mgdroot);/somename.html"

don't.

I am sure that I am missing something. I am also pretty sure that I am
not supposed to set mgdroot myself, because this would go against the
Midgard philosophy.

I searched this list, but I couldn't get any enlightenment.

Is my problem related to active/static pages?

TIA,

Frank
