OK, set LogLevel to debug in httpd.conf and lets see what actually happens
in mod_midgard. Also, I'd have to see the contents of the host table of
your midgard database.

If mod_midgard can't find a host match it passes control back to apache. I
take it you've tried to access http://hostname/admin, midgard can't find a
match for hostname, so Apache goes looking for /admin in your DocumentRoot
(which is set to /usr/htdocs appearantly).

You did change the 'localhost' fields in the host table midgard database
to match your hostname?
