In midgard-php (1.2.5), do
patch < lang-scan-lex.patch
That's all. There should be no errors.
I'd check this into CVS and cut a new release of 1.2.5 if someone can tell
me where it is in CVS :)

Call phpinfo() on a php page, or do:
$ telnet yourhost 80
HEAD / HTTP/1.0
and enter twice. Apache will report the midgard version in use.
