You should note that midgard does not force any particular layout. You
can do everything what can also be done with another combination of
html, database, authorisation layer and server side script execution.
The advantage of midgard is that both, site-development and maintainance
are much simpler. Development is eased down by means of reusable styles,
page elements (and soon code snippets). As for maintainance, this is
where the content management capabilities of midgard come in.
