Does the javascript patch exist in 1.2.6b2? If not do I do the following patch
command "patch < lang-scan-lex.patch" and then re-compile mod_midgard? Also,
what is the status of this problem in 1.4beta?

In midgard-php (1.2.5), do
patch < lang-scan-lex.patch
That's all. There should be no errors.
