yes,
I had the same problem and solved it that way:
midgard site looks for images like that in html source <img
src=/images/x.gif>
so if you have documentroot for example in /www/midgard copy images
directory into /www/midgard
next look at httpd.conf
default:
<Directory /www/midgard>
document root ...
require valid user
etc
</Directory>
I changed it (thnx Emile)
<File /www/midgard/midgard-root.php3>
require valid user
etc
</File>
I write it from my mind.....(and I'm not so good at English at all)
And look if the rootpage is active or static.
