Emile thanks heap's for your answer. I just dont think I quite understand (how to do what?, next?) (sorry a --real-- programmer i am not, just a web hacker wantabee 8) allthe same I have run the above and grep'd the result for the va_arg_type_violation (and bits thereof) but can't see a file that claim to own it. what libs does mdg lib link too, and should i reinstall these from source rather than rpm? I may have just missed the train on your surgestion ofcorse (I have in the past have 1.2.5 working fine, but its the new SG's CSnips etc that we need) sorry about the time wasting.
