Looks like my timezone is out of sync:)
anyway,
I will have a look at the DHTML editors..
I was looking at making the front entry page a local config page. -
eg a form with
Use Inline editor [No/Editlive/DHTML]
Abstract Box sizes w/h [100] [200]
Content Box sizes w/h [100] [200]
Default menu behaviour [view/edit]
Use Javascript to update menu on changing editwindow [No/Yes]
etc.
this would then be stored as cookies in a serialized array - and used in the
various parts to determine what to use...
Interesting that the manual says that sending http headers does not work - It
seems to for me...
I have just moved the whole code into a host rather than lots of styles - I
think It make more sense when distributing......
What are the implications for the 1.4 admin site - I havent got a machine to
test it on at present - although maybe next week.
The code included alot of checks for user privaliges on pages etc. - so that
you could only see/edit what you where allowed to
I also need to have a look at import/export - I think this could be very
usefull to distrubute code for midgard/admin and 'snippits...'(not
codesnippets).. - got lots of ideas here regarding code libraries and a page
that says update - and lists the available packages from a remote server -
just tick, it downloads and installs it into midgard.....
Q:how does the codesnippit work? - The docs say that rather than pulling code
from a file it pulls it from the database, but how would you use the address..
mgd_codesnippit("/testing/aphpfile.php") - would pull from the current host,
and look in the db for a page called aphpfile.php in the testing page???
regards
