Hey all,
After the long awaited north American tour, in the spirit of Henri's
European tour, during which I had no net access and so got none of my
office work done (and 1767 e-mails when I returned to the office) (though
it turned out to be nice to be netless for a few weeks...I stopped
stressing after 4 days and slept a lot better) I am back and I have
questions....
In my office we are pretty fired up about 1.4 coming out, I have not been
able to play with it, though in the next few days I am going to put it on
my laptop and see what it looks like....
Q1...Are the extensible records still in and has anyone tried them out
much?
Q2...I am back on the trail of integrating Flash into a midgard site...has
anyone else played with this in the last month or so? It seems like it
ought to be pretty straight forward but I am having a hard time finding any
starting points. Does anyone know off hand what the syntax for passing php
through flash is?
Q3...We are trying to make a page where an enduser from out side the system
can go to a page, fill in a name field and a message hit submit and have
the record be created with the approve button off. It does not seem to work
though....it goes through but no record is created...is this possibly
because an unknown user has no write permissions in the DB security? Is
there a way to do this better? or at all? Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated!
