All right, I know we've gone over this before.... but I was following the
directions from CVS regarding installing on RaQ w/o the MySQL shared
libraries... however, when I go to install mod_midgard I get the following
error....
checking whether the C compiler
(cc -L/usr/lib/mysql -L/usr/local/lib -lmidgard
-lmysqlclient) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot
creat
e executables.
If I install the shared libraries, everything appears to install ok, but it
causes my apache server to not reboot properly. It appears that the php
module is the problem and not midgard cause if I comment out the midgard
lines in httpd.conf the server won't reboot... but it will if I comment out
the php lines and leave uncommented the midgard ones...
i've tried this with 1.2.5 and 1.4beta4 any suggestions would be
appreciated.
