I am looking to install a development system for creating screens and
manipulating data for mysql. It seems to me Midgard does that.
As far as I can tell - I've got midgard load and running.
I don't mind reading any kind of documentation. I just havn't been able
to
find any. What's my next step? How do I test if this is working?
My php files open up fine in /www/htdocs - I tried copying
midgard-root.php3 there,
and bringing it up as http://localhost/midgard-root.php3
It finds the file, but netscape gives an
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.
the /www/logs/error_log says;
[Mon Jul 31 16:12:00 2000] [crit] [client 127.0.0.1] configuration
error: couldn't check user. No user file?: /midgard-root.php3
[Mon Jul 31 16:12:05 2000] [notice] [client 127.0.0.1] Midgard: host
record for
banning.com:80 not found
The "No user file?: /midgard-root.php3" error seems misguided - it IS
reading the file.
Typing a non existent file like http://localhost/midgard-root2.php3
brings netscape error;
Not Found
The requested URL /midgard-root2.php3 was not found on this server.
Apache/1.3.12 Server at banning.com Port 80
