im a newbie to this product so please bare with me if i ask/have done
something stupid.
i followed the 8.1.5 INSTALL.ORACLE notes which have kindly been
produced by jean-pierre and his team. as i was putting midgard onto an
8.1.6 instance, i have taken the time to put the changes to paper and
will be forwarding them to jean-pierre if he hasn't been there already.
eg. need to remove nossb libs from LIBS1 env setting and also the fact
that they have moved some of the libs from one directory to another
between the 2 versions.
i have managed to get everything to compile satisfactorily and have
completed the addition of the 2 required entries into the 'HOST' table
to allow for the admin and exmaple interfaces.
entries as follows:

within the httpd.conf file i have setup the virtual hosts as per
specified in the installation notes to reflect the various port
assignments
for host a.b.c.
basically when i fire up
http://a.b.c:8101 i get the contents of the root directory of the
htdocs.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
