Hi,

We have installed Midgard/1.4-beta4 on an Intel-Machine with Linux
2.2.5 and run about 5 different Midgard Sites parallel with approx.
50 non-midgard virtual hosts.

Eg:
http://www.tsm.co.at/midgard/
http://www.sonomed.at/midgard/

Some minutes after a restart of the Apache we run into 404 errors
from Apache and Midgard pages can not be seen, that exist.
On dircetory-URLs it shows the index.
Then - like magic - they show up again - and "disappear" with 404 errors...

Our system configuration:

Apache/1.3.12 (Unix)
PHP/3.0.16+Midgard/1.4-beta4/SG
Midgard/1.4-beta4/SG
mod_perl/1.24

First we had the Midgard configuration in the initial Apache
configuration and therefore the MidgardEngine turned on for all
virtual hosts. Then we moved the Midgard configuration into the
virtualhost sections. Each of the Midgard sites has its own MySQL
database.

The Apache Error-Logfile shows:

    [crit] Midgard: Too many connections

Although we are only two persons testing (no, we are not workin too hard ;-)
What went wrong with our configuration?
