I received a phone call from a friend who reports that a WHITE PELICAN was
seen on the Hudson River at Coeymans, Albany County, this morning, June 11.

Although, not birders, this guy and his buddies had good close looks at the
bird and gave a good description of what one would expect. They also looked
it up on the internet to confirm their identification (what ever happened to
bird books?).

It left in a while everyone wasn't looking hence into an unknown direction.

So, there you have it. Keep a sharp eye out for a seven foot wingspan white
bird with a huge beak.
