Hi Michael,
I’m not a big follower of airshows, hence there may be something that I’m missing. I’ve seen similar pictures, statements, etc., over the years and this one looks to me like more of the same. In the U.S., as there are contingents that train especially for such events, one supposes that these need somewhere to perform and that they want to look as spectacular as they can. The worst that I can say is that the captions are illiterate and look to be “non-official,” if nothing else. As for the picture itself—might be artificially enhanced/changed to some extent. In that regard I may be seeing zebras instead of horses. Someone will doubtless correct me as needed.
